Peter Kaye  -  Independent Candidate for Bass

It seems to me that one of the hardest things in the world is to write about yourself but here goes ....

After leaving high school I worked in the Education Department, for a sand mining company, as a car salesman, a cleaner and a taxi driver before discovering what was to become one of my great loves, radio.

I worked in radio in Queensland, South Australia, New South Wales, Canberra and, of course, Tasmania for 7EX and 7LA.

I also worked a little in Tasmanian television ( in my slimmer days) and my broad experience would be painted as media and media management, writing and web design.

Importantly, I strongly believe in the future of Tasmania and Tasmanians and that we simply live in the best place in the world.
